A transformational journey of yoga, meditation, sadhanas, nutrition, and joy led by the renowned Shiromani Krishan Verma from the Art of Living Ashram in Montreal, Canada and chief yogi of Sri Sri School of Yoga who has trained more than 2,000 yoga teachers in more than twenty countries.


Daily Schedule

6:00-8:30: Mindful Hatha Yoga session, Pranayama (breathing exercises) ending with a meditation

8:30-10:30: Breakfast/seve/rest/short walk

10:30-1:00: Practice of Strengthening and Healing Contractions (SAHC) taking awareness to each and every part of the body, these contractions serve to strengthen. An ancient yet very effective yogic technique unique to this program only. Deeper Breathing exercises will be taught leading effortlessly one to meditation and stillness. Sprinklings of practical tips on how to apply yogic principles in daily life

1:00-2:45: Lunch/seva/rest

2:45-6:00: Practice of ancient Yogic Detox techniques followed by in-depth study of some basic asanas. More unique interactive processes to help the mind settle

6:00-7:30: Dinner/rest

7:30 -9:00: Practice of knowledge and satsang, which are like taking a shower in the evening after working hard all day - so refreshing!


By singing a few uplifting spiritual and cultural songs, and sharing common-sense wisdom we celebrate the end of each day, and prepare for welcoming the next day with more energy, interest, and enthusiasm. This practice helps us live each day with more positive energy and attitude, and it improves our efficiency and productivity. The common-sense wisdom also helps us deal with the daily stressful situations skillfully and in a positive manner.


This transformational retreat will cover:

· Several different sequences of postures for toning and strengthening the whole body. These sequences are very effective, and yet so gentle that anyone can do them. With regular practice, in addition to making body stronger and more flexible, they help eliminate or reduce chronic pains in the body

· Learning the unique process of strengthening and healing contractions to strengthen and relax each and every part of the body

· Cleansing processes to eliminate stored toxins in the body for improving bodily functions

· Breathing exercises to strengthen the lungs and improve lung capacity

· Simple processes to reduce stored tension and stresses in the mind

· Guided deep relaxation that provide soothing and rest to body and mind

· Simple and practical wisdom for living a healthier, happier, and more meaningful life

· What we eat affects both our bodies and minds. In this transformational journey you will learn about simple and practical tips for cooking and eating healthier. You will also learn about the foods that enhance and increase the prana (life force) in us, and how the mental attitude while cooking can affect the prana in the food. And you will also find out about the basics of Ayurvedic cooking.

· In the first day as you accustom yourself to the serene environment, you will embark on some detox techniques which will make you feel much lighter in the body.

· As you start feeling much lighter in your body from the second day onwards, your mind too will start getting clearer as you do a sequence of postures.

· Yoga is much more than asanas, hence there is a balance between breathing exercises and different types of meditation processes to be taught over the days. As the days go by , new knowledge of the impact of asanas, contractions and breathing exercises will slowly dawn in you and their healing benefits experienced almost immediately.

· As each day goes by, the knowledge and practical tips of wisdom start sinking deep within and as questions dawn within us or reflections on our lifestyle surface, they are answered almost immediately with ease and experience.

· By the third day, you will start exploring and improving the range of motion in your joints, engaging in strengthening exercises.

· Better alignment of posture will be practiced on Day 4.

· As the days go on, your mind and body will feel restful and peaceful.
