This is the trip you have been waiting for. Backpacking and abseiling through dry wadi surrounded by high walls and giant boulders. One of the most exciting and unique routes in Jabal Jais. Surrounded by like-minded adventurers and overwhelmed by the breathtaking nature and view of the rocky mountains this your chance to step outside your comfort zone simply because ADVENTURE IS LIVING!

*This will be our last excursion this season that involves rope work and abseiling.

On this trip you will learn to navigate your way through the mountain carrying your sleeping bag, food, water, and tent in your backpack. It is the test of endurance and will that will make all the difference.

This trip is not to be taken lightly and is physically demanding so an adventurous spirit and good will is needed.

The route itself is semi-technical requiring your full attention in navigating in an semi alpine rocky terrain. Some of the challenges will be climbing metal chains, climbing across steep cliff to be rewarded with a camp spot with majestic views over looking RAK lower part of Jabal Jais.

The plan is to start early noon and reach the campsite around sunset after a few hours of climbing (with breaks and safety set ups/depends on group pace).

This is an intermediate trip and carrying your heavy backpack makes it challenging but enjoyable. It requires good fitness and cardio. Some bouldering part is challenging so a good understanding of this nature is required. The number of attendees is limited to a small group to keep a good pace.

Difficulty level of these canyons is 7 out of 10. Rope skills will be taken care of by the guides. No water involved. Expected duration of hike with minimal stops around 4/5hours. • Distance to cover 6km. • Involves: Steep climbing in certain areas, scrambling and bouldering, parts with loose rocks, gentle stretches. • Depending on your gear your backpack weight could reach up to 10/12kg.
