These are the TWO reasons for “HAPPYUAE” name change in your mobile network in UAE

On 15th march, UAE residents were pleasantly surprised to see name of their phone network changed to 'Happy UAE'. The change in name was reported on both the UAE's leading telecom providers , Du and Etisalat. 

There are two main reasons for this initiative:

Reason 1:

This Initiative is a part of UAE celebrations for International day of happiness on March 20th. During this celebration of Year of Zayed a happiness carnival took place at city walk Dubai on Thursday 15th March with 2000 performers from marching percussion bands, people in colourful costumes, and other traditional dances.

Reason 2:

UAE was ranked 20th happiest country in the World happiness report launched on March 14, 2018. The World Happiness Report is a landmark survey of the state of global happiness. The World Happiness Report 2018, which ranks 156 countries by their happiness levels, and 117 countries by the happiness of their immigrants, was released on March 14th at a launch event at the Pontifical Academy of Sciences in the Vatican. A subsequent event will occur next week on March 20th, celebrating International Day of Happiness at the United Nations.
